ACCELQ allows integration with Spira Test for establishing traceability with Requirements and Defects managed in Spira Test.
Enabling API Access in Your SpiraTest Account
API access needs to be enabled in your SpiraTest account to establish the integration with ACCELQ. Follow these steps to enable API access:
- Log in to SpiraTest: Log in to your SpiraTest account using your credentials.
- Navigate to Settings: In your SpiraTest account, navigate to the "System Administration" section.
- Access API Settings: Look for an option related to API settings or integration. This can often be found under "My Profile”.
- Generate API Key: Generate an API key. This key will be used to authenticate the integration with ACCELQ.
- Save API Key: Ensure you save the API key in a secure location. You will need to provide this key during the integration setup in ACCELQ. Use this key as password in ACCELQ.
Setting up the ACCELQ-SpiraTest Integration
Now that you have enabled API access in your SpiraTest account, you can proceed with setting up the integration between ACCELQ and SpiraTest. Follow these steps to configure the integration:
- Log in to ACCELQ: Log in to your ACCELQ account using your credentials.
- Access Integrations: Navigate to the "Integrations" section in Admin panel of ACCELQ.
- Choose SpiraTest Integration: Locate the SpiraTest integration option and click on it.
- Configure Integration: Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the integration. You'll need to provide your SpiraTest API key as password, SpiraTest username and endpoint URL.
- Test Connection: After configuring the integration, Click on the “Test Connection” button.
- Save Configuration: Save the configuration settings to activate the integration.
