Manage Projects

In accelQ, test assets are configured and managed at Project level. You can create multiple projects on the given Tenant. Each project typically points to an application-under-test. Your currently logged in project name is displayed in the sticky tab header.

Create New Project

You need Tenant Admin privilege to create or manage a project.

• Login as Tenant Admin and click on gear icon in the left-nav action menu. Click Manage Projects section link.
• Click + New Project in the grid toolbar.
• Select between creating a blank project or copying configuration and user information from one of the existing projects.

• Click on Create button.
• Provide Project name and a meaningful description.
• [Blank-Project option] Select users to give access to project. For each selected user, select Role and indicate if Project Admin privilege should be assigned.

• Note: All the Tenant Administrators on the system are already added to the project. Just select the Role for each of these automatically added users.
• [Copy-Configuration Option] Select the name of the project from where the configuration and user-list should be copied. You do not need to add users separately.

Manage Project

You can login as Tenant Admin and manage following actions against a Project.

• Login as Tenant Admin and click on gear icon in the left-nav action menu. Click Manage Projects section link.
• Search for the Project to manage and select one of the actions:
  1. Delete: This operation cannot be undone. Confirm the operation.
  2. Rename and update user access: Update which users have access to the project and their privilege and Role on the project.
  3. Clone Project: Cloning a project creates a replica of the current project with all the configuration settings as well as the test assets. Test Results are not copied.
