Application Universe

The Application Universe is a graphical blueprint of your application under test (AUT). It shows a visual mapping and relation of the test assets in your ACCELQ Project.

The Universe is divided horizontally into 2 sections: a) Map view and, b) Sidebar.

The Map view area shows the blueprint of your AUT where the circle dots denote the Contexts in your application and the lines connecting them are Actions which make it possible to traverse from one context to another in your AUT.

Clicking on a connecting line displays the name of the Action and a brief description. You may navigate to the Action from here.

The sidebar consists of a list of all Scenarios in your Project, along with an ability to filter based on Status and Alerts. You may click open the steps of a Scenario from this listing. This will filter the Universe on the left-hand side to display the steps in a graphical application traversal format.

Filtering the Universe

You have the option to either view all the assets in the current Project or a subset of selected Test Suites. Simply click on the filter icon and choose the appropriate option.
