Feature Availability: Release 6.2
The Entity Explorer in ACCELQ is an advanced search capability designed to help explore your Project assets for management, optimization, and refactoring. It serves as a centralized hub for exploring various entities such as Actions, Elements, and data references, including global properties and Scenario references.
By integrating with Global Search, it simplifies navigating through the multitude of assets, offering users the ability to locate, examine, and manage project components effortlessly, from entity details to optimization opportunities like unused Actions or Views.
Explore entity by name
You can type the full or partial name of an entity to bring the results across the Project.
Explore by References
You can query the Project to find references to various entities or resources as described here.
| Reference Type | Description |
| Action References | All the Actions and Scenarios in the Project that use a given Action |
| Element References | List of Actions that are referencing given Element. In addition, this utility also lists the Elements which are using the given Element as an anchor Element. |
| Elements of given Type | List of Elements that are of given Element Type (such as Web Button). Note: This is available only for the Smart Locators which are managed as named Elements in the Element Repo. |

| Scenario References | List of static Test Suites that include the given Scenario (filter based suites are not listed) |
| Global Property References | List of Actions, and Scenario steps using the given Global Property. Includes both Manual and Automation Scenarios. |

Explore for Optimization
This group of capabilities allows to find unused entities with a view to cleanup project assets.
| Entity | Description |
| Unused Actions | Shows a list of Actions that are not used in any other Actions, or Scenarios in the Project. |
| Unused Elements | You can either find the list of unused Elements across the whole project or a given Context. |
| Unused Views |
You can either find the list of unused Views across the whole project, or a given Context. An unused View is something that does not have any mapping for existing Smart Locator Elements in the Repository. Note: This differs from the "Purge" functionality supported in a Context page, which returns all eligible Views to purge based on the minimum-required-views analysis. |
