ACCELQ allows traceability between Manual and Automated test assets . If your organization has subscription for Manual and Automation products in ACCELQ, then you can link a manual Scenario with automation Scenario and vice versa. Note that each Scenario can be linked with multiple corresponding Scenarios the linkage is displayed in a bi-directional fashion.
Unlike the situation where automation and manual test cases are managed in different products, this feature in ACCELQ keeps the traceability relationship live and current all the time. There is no need for using any connecting ID between disparate systems which are prone to change over a period of time.
You can establish this traceability from the Traceability tab of either manual or automated Scenario. Once established, you can cross-reference the entities and also review the last update date of the related entities.
In the Navigator grid for manual are automated Scenarios, you can setup a filter to display only those with or without corresponding traceability .
In the Automation and Manual Scenario navigator grids, traceability with Requirements and Manual/Automated Scenarios is displayed in one column as in the figure.
