Setting up Safari browser for automation

ACCELQ supports automated execution against Safari browser on Mac, but requires a brief setup on the desktop where the test needs to run (machine where Local Agent is running).

Before you execute your tests on Safari browser on Mac, follow these steps to setup your browser to allow automated interactions.

Step 1: Enable Safari Driver

Open a Terminal command window on your Mac and type following command:

/usr/bin/safaridriver --enable

Step 2: Enable Develop Menu

Click on Safari >> Preferences and select the checkbox as displayed below.

Step 3: Enable Remote Automation

Click on Develop >> Allow Remote Automation
