How to create Bugs from the Test result

ACCELQ Test Results are actionable. They not only provide information about the health of test run with a complete trace of screenshots but also provides an ability to act on the information.

Creating a Bug

1. Open an existing Test Result. When you come across a failed test case, click on the “bug” icon in the header of the particular Test Case.
   
   
2. ACCELQ brings up a "New Bug" dialog window with all the steps necessary to reproduce the failure and optionally, an ability to attach screenshots to the bug.
   
   
3. Review the information and click “Create”.
   
   
4. This will generate a bug in the configured Jira project and provide a confirmation with the ID of the bug created in Jira.

Once the bug is created, Test Result is linked to the defect and can continually track the progress of the bug on Jira, while still navigating in ACCELQ.
