Use the Recorder options to capture interactions with your application. The two recording modes — Fluid and Intent — offer flexibility based on your workflow and requirement.
Recorder ON/OFF
- Toggle ON to start recording interactions.
- When OFF, use the browser freely to navigate and set up your application's state without capturing steps.
Recording Modes
Fluid Mode
- Automatically records actions as you interact with the application.
- Ideal for building logic from scratch in a new Action or Scenario.
- For advanced steps (e.g., read-information/verify/sync), right-click and choose the command from the context menu.
- Note: Since every interaction is recorded, this can sometimes lead to unexpected steps being logged — especially when working in an existing Action. So, be sure to turn off the recording or switch to Intent mode when needed.

Intent Mode
- Nothing is recorded automatically.
- You right-click on elements to explicitly choose the command you want (click, read, verify, etc.) to record.
- Also allows you to invoke existing Actions directly from the context menu.
- Recommended when you need full control and predictability — especially while enhancing or modifying existing logic.
Switching Modes
- Use the radio options next to the Recorder toggle to switch between Fluid and Intent at any time.
- Choose the mode that best fits your context:
- Fluid: Quick, intuitive creation from scratch, all interactions recorded.
- Intent: Precision updates and deliberate step addition.
