When you are building a Scenario, all available Actions are grouped into two sets. Relevant Actions which are valid to be used at a given point in the Scenario flow, and All Actions which is a full listing of all the Actions available in the project.
If you select an Action outside the Relevant group, you are presented with options, as follows:
Proceed with Missing step alert
If you choose to select this Action without any corrective measure, the system will create a missing step in the flow. Learn more about missing-step alerts and its impact on test execution.
Share Action with the current Context in the flow
This option allows you to share the selected Action with the Context of the current step in the Scenario. By choosing this option, you are bringing the Action into Relevant list.
This updates the Action's shared list and hence avoids the missing step alert. Be sure that the selected Action is functionally relevant in this new Context. Learn more about Action sharing.
Create a new Action
This option creates a new Action with the same name in the Context of the current step in the Scenario. Make sure you are not duplicating the Action logic across multiple Contexts, which may increase the maintenance overheads.
