Test Case Generation for Manual Testing

A well parameterized Scenario allows automated test case generation in accelQ, covering various permutations of required parameters.

Setting up for Test Case Generation

First step in setting up automated test case generation is to configure the parameters and define allowed values for important parameters. During parameter configuration, all parameters that are marked with either a Data Type or Data List participate in the test case generation.

 Generating Test Cases

Once the parameters are configured, click on the "Generate Test Cases" icon in the Test Cases tab of a Manual Scenario.

System collects all configured parameters and brings out minimal number of permutations required to cover each parameter value using all-pair analysis. User can choose from the presented test case list and save.
