Installing View Recorder Plugin

View Recorder is a chrome extension used to record web and mobile screen views. You will capture Views in ACCELQ to analyze element identification and facilitate writing Action logic. 

View Recorder on Chrome Store

You can install the View Recorder extension from the Chrome store: Play Store URL

Click on "Add to Chrome" button on the extension page.

In the confirmation dialog, click on the "Add extension" button.

Once you install the plugin, you will notice the plugin's icon in your toolbar to the right of the URL field. If there is not enough space in the toolbar, it may be moved into a dropdown list.

Invoking View Recorder

View Recorder can be initiated from the following use cases within ACCELQ. 

• Context details page, as part of View recording
• Action logic development
• Scenario step building when creating a new Context as part of an initialization step

You will learn more about these use cases in respective sections.

Note: It is not possible to directly operate the View Plugin from the browser toolbar.
