accelQ allows you to configure web driver capabilities for a test execution. You can setup this configuration from the Run modal.
- In the Run modal, click on Browser/OS icons which will expand that section.
- Click on the "configure" link.
- Provide required capability configuration in a Json format as discussed in examples below
Configuration JSON consists of two parts. All the capabilities and arguments that are passed use the standard Selenium Web Driver naming.
An array of capabilities that are passed as browser startup arguments such as headless mode, incognito, window size, maximize window etc. These are specified as comma separated list of items as in the example below:
"args":["start-maximized", "incognito", "headless", "no-sandbox"]
Example: Running in headless mode
Example: Opening Chrome in incognito mode
Example: Setting up browser resolution
Configuration settings are cached at a project level, specific to each browser type. For example, once a configuration is setup in the project for Chrome browser, these settings are saved and used for all future Chrome executions for that project.
