Action represents a particular user activity that is possible in a Context. It represents a "verb"- what can be done in a given context. An action is owned by a context and has a defined destination context.
Action includes logic to verify or act on a page. We will learn more about Logic in our Action Logic Editor article.
Performing the activity of Sign In from the Home Page will result in landing to the My Account Page.
In this example,
- Sign In is an activity that is being performed, it is an Action.
- Home Page is where the Sign In action is being performed, it becomes an Owner Context for the Sign In action.
- My Account Page is where the Sign In action leads to, it becomes the Destination Context for Sign In action.
