Custom Fields in accelQ provide an ability to flag various entities across the system. In an enterprise environment, it is extremely helpful to design appropriate Custom Fields which will help business focused analysis across the QA lifecycle.
Custom Fields can be created from the Project Configuration by clicking on "Custom Fields" link. Various types of Custom Fields are supported.
To track the Owner for each Scenario, define a Custom Field with that name and assign “User List” as the type of the field. Designate the field as applicable to Scenario and you are done. Mark the field as “Required” if you chose this to be a mandatory field. You can also provide a default Owner value for existing Scenarios or you can also update the Owner value for each Scenario separately. For all newly created Scenarios, you are prompted for the Owner in the “Create Scenario” modal.
